Hello, RPG Maker MZ users! The game window size provided by RPG Maker MZ is fixed by default, so adjusting it to the desired resolution requires a lot of work. So I created a plugin that allows you to freely change the game window and canvas resolution! With this plugin, you can easily adjust the window size through GUI commands, and in the NW.js environment, it will adjust to the actual game window size.

Main features
Resolution adjustment: You can set the game window and canvas to the desired size. NW.js support: When running based on NW.js, the window size will be automatically adjusted. GUI command provided: Easy to operate through RPG Maker MZ's "plugin command". Script callable: You can change it directly with the changeWindowResolution(width, height); command!

Installation method
1. Download the plugin file below.
2. Put the file in the js/plugins directory of the RPG Maker MZ project folder. 3. Open "Plugin Manager" in RPG Maker MZ editor, add ChangeWindowResolutionMZ plugin and activate it.
4. Select "Plugin Command" → "Change Resolution" in the event and enter the desired resolution!
5. When you run the game, the game window and canvas will be adjusted to the set resolution.


Note

This plugin can only change the game window size in NW.js-based environments.

In non-NW.js environments, only Graphics.resize() is executed and only the canvas size is changed.

Depending on the operating system and NW.js version, window resizing may be limited.

This plugin allows you to create RPG Maker MZ games with more freedom in resolution. Create a great game with a comfortable resolution! (Some codes can be omitted and replaced with download links as needed)
