Hi guys, I've decided I'll build a complete tutorial on building a game using sprites bigger than the 48 * 48 standard, add pixel movement and generally do it over a series. Here in Part 1 we'll be dealing with basic set up, arranging and getting the game prepared along with building the character.
This is a long series and will involve many plugins that are freely available.
For the sprites instead of designing them from scratch I will be using the PV Games ones (and tiles too) but I decided to post it here because these tutorials will work with many different styles and assets and hopefully everything can be learned from it.
