[制作教程] Game_stailer94 Quest Editor Tutorial

    Quest Editor and Quest plugin of Game_Stailer94 Tutorial

    Some people do not get this editor working or do not set it up correctly because it crash
    or get a white screen.

    I make this tiny tutorial how to set it up and how it works (I do not go into game details
    unless needed
    )
    with in game for params, plugin commands etc, I leave that for now, because most of those
    details can be found in the helpfile itself.

    Required:
    Go to this page and download the editor and plugin.

    Lets get started shall we?

    Step 1:
    when you double click the QuestEditor-Setup-1.3.3 it will install the Quest Editor.exe and the JS.
    if not, you can download the JS manually and install it in the plugins folder of your project.

    you get either a white screen as shown below in the spoiler:

    In case you get a white screen, click on file and click "Set Project Directory" which is important.
    Other peoples might get a red error box to set the directory, both ways works.

    Step 2:
    When you select your director, you see the next field.
    Spoiler: Step 2
    you would see only <Name> in those fields. So I explain a bit later what they all means.



    While I already named the quest to test things out, it would be a nice startup, but I erased most information
    of this quest while it was in my tutorial project.

    Click on the <name>, this clap the settings open to fill out. or the pensil to change its name. (showd in step 3)

    Step 3:
    This step is a bit longer, but I go over in all details as possible in 4 little steps so each
    number is covered in the next spoiler image.

    On here, you see numbers 1 through 4,  so I explain what they mains.
    1) If you click on the pensil, you can change the quest name
    Below is the description of the quest, use this to explain short what they MUST do.
    Next of this box is the ICON which take the iconset in the system folder, so choose an
    icon or leave blank.

    Next to it is the Category to choose from, they are 3 standard, but you can make it 1 or 5 or more.
    How to make the categories is explain later (just hang on there)

    2) Here you define the step(s) and how many steps they need to go through, this can be 1 by 1
    or by multiple at once. (Lets get a tiny bit in depth here)

    Step:  Name your step goal here (keep is short and to the point.
    Show Progress: Tick this box if you want it show its progress, ideal for a killing or gathering quest.
    Variable: Choose your variable here (so if you have a name for it in the project it,
    its shown here, else it says <Empty>
    Max Value: The amoung of killing or gathering that the variable need to reach.
    Percentage: instead of plain numbers like 1/10,  it will show a % so if you need 10 items, it says 10%.
    The bucket next to it is to delete the step if you make to many of it.

    3) This is the reward section which is nice and plain easy to understand.
    Just make sure, the item(s) exist in your project)

    Type: Exp, Gold, Item, Armor or Weapon can be chosen here.

    Item: if choses Item, Weapon, Armor, you can choose what Armor, Weapon, Item they can obtain.

    Amount/text: The amount of Exp, Gold, Items, Weapons or Armor they recieve upon completion. Armor and Weapons
    are normally on 1, unless you want to give them 2.  for 2 different weapons, make 2x weapon Type.

    Hidden: do you want to give the player hidden Exp? Hidden Gold? or Item? Tick this box.
    The bucket here removes the reward if you made to many.

    4) This red rectangle shows "Categories", "Max Value" and "Save"
    Save is probably the most important button, so when you edit some or per quest, SAVE it.
    (or you might lose all)

    Categories: here you can add any amount of categories, but dont make to many,
    keep it around 5 or 6 tops.
    Samples: Story, SideQuest, BlackSmith, Gathering, Hunting.
    Other possibilties: Alchemy, Tailoring, Escort etc.
    Just make sure, that each category you make, at least has 6 or more quest, or make a Misc for those.

    Max Value: The Amount of quests.

    Plugin commands, Scriptcalls arents covered here, but on the main forum.
    In case, I can explain a bit more here or how to set it up in order for the quest.

    More info for ingame or params? how they work, and size needed?
