Ever thinking of having some creepy crawlies hanging from the ceiling in the room while making a game? Let’s say, like a giant spider or tied up enemy? Let's see this picture first.
Spoiler Note : These spiders will move upward and downward .You can walk below them, as they were hanging from the ceiling. In addition, you can control the web length as you like. You could also manipulate the spider like making them escape from the web and chase you or use them just as another cool fear factors.
Finding available sources could be hard so if you are are the DIY type like me, then you could make this by your own. All you need is :
1. Any spider sprite from legal source in png format.
2. Ms paint exe software or other compatible drawing tool you are good with.
3. An animation template (Refer to the previous tutorial of making simple animation).
4. Enterbrain Rpg maker xp software.
1. Open the template with Ms Paint exe. Since my spider web is white, I need to fill the background color with different color than white. Now draw a long spider web strand like being shown below (this is just an example, you can do different style though).

2. Now, open the spider sprite image you choose and use select, copy and paste it into this template, aligned it as if the spider is attached to the web.

3. We knew animation will follow the pattern from left to right. So, observe how to make the spider moving upward in the following frames.
Spoiler Note : It may seem tricky but eventually, it is not. All you need is to select and copy paste the first frame to the second frame, before adjusting the length of the spider web.
4. All left now is to erase the black outline save the final product before imported it back into the rpgmaker XP software files (Graphic/characters folder). However, there is a small rule while applying this moving spider animation. See the picture below :
Spoiler
Note : The white circle represent the web stand and the yellow circle is where you placed the moving spider sprite. Please leave an empty gap (red square) in between them.
5. Sure, there is no limitation while making this. You can make a moving upside down pouches, boxes, items, etc. Good luck
