This is a simple tutorial to show how you can create an item that slows down the player.
This can be used to create:
- Heavy items that are over-powered, but annoy the player with how slow they must walk.
- Heavy items used to solve maze puzzles that make going through the entire maze a hassle unless the player finds some sort of map/hints ahead of time.
- Used as a horror/scary game mechanic to force the player to move slowly while they bring a heavy item through some rooms.
