Animation change during battle.

Good morning everyone, 

So...I'm new to RPG Maker...literally, about 3 weeks since I picked it up.  Designing my own game has been something I've always wanted to do, but I've just got around to it.  I've got a story I've always wanted to tell, and I think it will work perfectly in RPG format. 

I have a question.  I've done some searching, but maybe it's either my lack of providing enough detail in the search, or I overlooked something.  I was wondering though, is their either a battle script or some other type of script that would allow for an animation change during combat?  For example, if I wanted to create a playable character in my game that was a werewolf, is there potentially a script out there that would allow me to do the following...

1. Create a "rage" bar that generates rage as he attacks.

2. Based on "rage" will allow him to change between his human and wolf forms.

Or not specifically based on rage, but during his change I would also like to have some access to new abilities.  Maybe have some that are grayed out when he is in human form vs when he is in his wolf form?  I think it would add another layer to the character.  

Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated.
