Hey, guys, I want to share this cinematic black bars I made, its very simple and was made for the resolution 1109x624 (Default - 16:9).

• Create a Parallel Event on the beggining of the game and make it show the picture I made (See Spoiler), configure the picture to appear at Center (600, 300) with 125% size, and make this event activate a switch.
  
  
• Create a Commom Event that activates with the switch you have created before.
  
• Make a Conditional Branch (and another switch) that checks if the new switch is on.
  
• Move Picture to (530, 315) 70% when the Conditional Branch returns true and move it back to the original position when its false.
  
  
• Now all you need to do is turn on the black bars switch on the beggining of your cutscene events, and turning it off at the end.
  

And thats pretty much it, no plugin required.

Spoiler: Black Bars Image:
If your game resolution is different, you would have to change the picture size and location to match the screen, the starting position of the picture cannot be seen, since its bigger than the screen.
