TPB turn order window + Instant TPB-1.jpg

Having recently replayed FFX, and other games like Trouble Shooter, I decided that the MZ time progress battle could do with a visualization of the turn order in battle.





This plugin adds a window to the battle scene to show the predicted turn order. The layout, size and positioning are configurable as seen in the image above.

Above each character are overlaid:
* A target indicator icon (so you can choose which goblin to attack based on the turn order)
* A TPB gauge indicating charge time or cast time

Both of these can be turned off if you prefer.

The community have already created dozens of battle system mechanics. I have only tested this with the built in TPB system, but there are instructions (for programmers) in the plugin for how to adapt it to another battle system. If you are lucky, it will "just work", it all depends how much the battle system differs from TPB.

Bonus Plugin: Instant TPB

This is a tiny game mechanic plugin that alters TPB to charge instantly between turns. It's meant to be used with "wait" mode so that the next battler's turn starts right away after the previous action is complete.

Instant TPB is too trivial to call a battle system, but gives the feel of CTB.
