The rules for the Learning Ruby and RGSSx section of this forum are purposefully vague. We want to facilitate open discussion about various topics regarding Ruby, programming, and other such topics.However, we want to be very clear about which topics DO NOT go in the Learning Ruby and RGSSx section.
[*]"Teach me how to make <insert script here>."Any topics similar to these kinds of requests should be made in the proper script request section. No one will hold your hand while you type up an entire script because they may as well code it for you.
[*]You may ask how to get started on making a particular script, though.
[*]You may also ask for help with your own work-in-progress scripts.
[*]Help/support topics for scripts made by other people.
[*]If you are having issues with a script NOT made by you, then please create a topic in the RGSSx Script Support section.
[*]However, this does not mean you cannot talk about other people's scripts in this section. For example, if you want to know how a script's abstract data structure was conceptualized or if you want understand an algorithm used in a script, then you may create a discussion topic for it here.
