About
Out of necessity for my own game (JaoRPG),
I created a plugin pack that brings true multilingual support to RPG Maker MV.
It allows you to translate event texts, database entries, menus, and more –
with workflow tools that make localization much easier.

The plugin pack comes in two editions so you can pick what your project needs.
Basic Edition

Lite Demo (Free Download)
This free Lite version shows the core functionality:

To try it out:
1. Copy JAO_I18N.js into www/js/plugins/.
2. Build your language files in:
Code:
www/data/i18n/en.json
Code:
www/data/i18n/de.json
(Folder must be i18n, filenames are language codes.)
3. Add Code:
\I
to an event text.
4. Use plugin commands to switch languages:
JAO_I18N SetLanguage en
JAO_I18N SetLanguage de
Note: A short README.txt is included in the attachments,
with installation steps and usage examples.
